2020 Best Host Worldpackers award
We are over the moon to have won the Worldpackers award!
From our many amazing reviews from our volunteers in 2020, we have won the award as best host at Prime Backpackers Angel, out of almost 8,000 hosts around the world. We are also the only winning hosts in the UK and are so excited and proud!
Worldpackers is a collaborative network for those looking for a unique travel experience. “Develop skills, learn languages and meet others through cultural immersion with local hosts.” The Worldpackers team created this award to publicly thank and show appreciation to hosts who share their mission of “transformation and personal development through collaborative experiences.”
The best Worldpackers hosts are those who make a positive impact on their volunteers’ lives and also on our wonderful planet. These hosts offering enriching experiences, help their local communities as well as the people who spend time at their hostels.
The 50 hosts around the world that Worldpackers chose for this annual award overcame the difficulties faced in 2020, whilst at the same time observing these three pillars for Worldpackers and the world:
Community development: social impact and consciousness;
Cultural exchange: immersion in the local culture, language practice, connections between international travellers and locals;
Restore our planet: environmental consciousness, sustainability, and connection with nature.
Worldpackers found Prime Angel to be the “perfect place to practice English and meet people from different countries.
They won the Cultural exchange award, in addition to getting plenty of compliments about their huge kitchen and the super comfy couches where you can have a good conversation, listen to music, and have a good time.”
