Stay
Prime Backpackers is housed in a beautiful Victorian building in Zone 1 central London. We are the perfect base to explore London, relax in safe and comfortable accommodation, as well as to meet new people from around the world.
We offer a mix of private and dorm rooms in a variety of sizes to suit different budgets, as well as solo travellers or small groups of friends. Whatever room you choose to stay in, you’ll have access to free high speed internet throughout the hostel, access to all our fantastic shared spaces, and free social events!
Private rooms
Private twin room
Tooting Broadway; perfect for those travelling with a friend, but you’d like your own bed and a bit more privacy. The room has a city view and is located on the top floor.
Private double room
We have three double private rooms, Regents Park, Mile End and Westminster, which are best suited for couples. There is a shared bathroom opposite. These rooms are on the top floor, and have just been renovated!
Private three bed room
Kings Cross has a bunk bed, and a single bed, so perfect for three friends travelling together. This room is on the top floor with a shared bathroom opposite.
Dorm beds
Female only dorm
We have two female only dorms, Leicester Square and Covent Garden, which have 8 and 9 bunks. Remember to bring a pad-lock. These dorms overlook our little patio and kitchen roof.
6 bed mixed dorm
We have one 6 bed dorm, London Bridge. This room has two three tier bunk beds, and is available to book as single dorm beds or as a private room. All dorms have personal plug sockets by the bunks.
12 bed mixed dorm
We have two mixed dorms with 12 bed dorms. If you make several reservations in different names, but would like to stay together, please let us know and we will do our best to arrange it. This is the best option if you are on a tighter budget. Please note we do not accept stag or hen dos.
Facilities
Large chill out lounge.
Big comfy sofas, large TV for films, a place to relax and read a book.
Music.
We have a drum kit, guitars, and a Sonos sound system. We love a music night.
Large fully equipped kitchen.
The heart of our home. A huge fully equipped kitchen. We have family dinners here every Thursday!
High speed wifi.
Free ultra high-speed Wifi throughout the hostel which includes all dorms and private rooms.
Laundry.
Freshen up your wardrobe - £5 for a wash and £4 for the dryer. We have an iron too. Towel rental available for £3.
Free tea & coffee.
Free! Available all day, every day.
Book Exchange.
We have lots of books to choose from, pick one you like and leave the one you have finished (good condition books only of course).
Outside Patio.
Sit back in our patio and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! We have lots of BBQ’s here in the summer.
