Christmas 2020 at Prime Backpackers

Christmas for us all has been different this year, but at Prime Backpackers we were still determined to make it a special day. Take a read of what we got up this Christmas, in the city and by the beach.

Prime Bournemouth …

… the Christmas festivities kicked off on the 24th, where we had a huge festive feast! Everyone got involved in the sharing Christmas spirit, bringing lots of delicious food and drinks. Lots of us got dressed up for the occasion too. It was so lovely to all be together, sharing stories and food, and even with dancing at the end.

Christmas Day welcomed a beautiful and bright sunny day, so we enjoyed a lovely walk on the beach to start the Christmas celebrations. We enjoyed a relaxed day all together, and in the evening we shared another wonderful festive feast! A few of us cooked some yummy food for everybody (vegans, non-vegans, halal, vegetarians). Let’s give some details; we had chia caviar with pesto and vegan sausage rolls for appetizers, an exotic pomegranate salad, chicken and leek carbonara, tempeh and mushroom stroganoff, and chocolate mousse and choco balls for dessert! (and of course lots of wine!) It was a true festive delight! After our special dinner we gathered around the Christmas tree and exchanged gifts.

Prime Angel…

….also had bright, blue skies for Christmas Day. The festivities begun at Prime Angel with a Secret Santa between all of our guests and volunteers. We then shared the cooking preparations for our big Christmas Day lunch. We had the most delicious traditional English Christmas feast of turkey, Yorkshire puddings, veggies, potatoes and all of the trimmings! We then spent the rest of the day playing board games, dancing and drinking wine. It was beautiful!
